Freestanding tubs are the most sophisticated and luxurious choice you could make: They look amazing wherever you put them; and they can be moved easily in every room where you may need them. This flexibility, however, affects their price; and they become the most expensive tubs you could purchase.
The Royal bathroom is only one of many possible options you can choose among. Probably, you would like a bathroom with some modern functions. Bathroom tub ideas have almost no limits today. We live in a very fast moving world with all its conveniences and advantages, nevertheless, it sometimes feels like our everyday routine lacks something significant. The regular bathtub will definitely look ok, but why don’t we jazz its look up.
Designing a bathroom for the modern family, busy and chaotic as they are, requires careful planning because getting the balance right is tricky. If you focus too much on the little ones’ needs, grumpy adults will have to shower hunched over among an army of rubber ducks, and if you focus too little on the children, they won’t be able to reach anything, or worse, they’ll hurt themselves trying.
Airy tubs are another peak in the progress of technology, which enable you to have a bubbly bath experience like the one spa can offer. They are quite similar to whirlpool tubs, with the main difference that there is a jet that heats air instead of water. A deeper comparison would even show that airy tubs are more sanitary-convenient, because the only thing that can happen to their jets is clogging. If you prefer a cheaper option, we recommend jets that dry the tub after it has been used; rather than those that can heat air inside.
Drop-in tubs are not really tubs. The term refers to tub shells, adjusted inside a solid enclosure matching the rest of the bathrooms decor (colors, tiles, or cabinets). Have in mind that you’ll have to purchase both items separately (the tub and the enclosure), which can cost much more than buying a regular bathtub.
One more option is cast iron tub that will add something vintage to the general look of the bathroom especially if you choose a free standing one. Originally garden bathtubs were popular in France placed right in the gardens in order to let one’s eyes feast on the flowers and blossom around. Nowadays people retained this idea in large bathtubs placed right below the big window. If you want to preserve this look of tranquility in the bathroom, add a few plants and make sure there’s enough light.
