Elisabeth Laurent December 30, 2019 Bathtub
We have to admit that walk in bathtubs for two people with bubbles and lot of foam placed in the middle of the tub is amazing, and if it is possible with an unforgettable view near the ocean or between mountains would be just perfect for everyone of us. In this collection you can find a variety of bathtubs with different and special designs most of them with very interesting concepts, varying from stone bathtubs to transparent ones.
Designing a bathroom for the modern family, busy and chaotic as they are, requires careful planning because getting the balance right is tricky. If you focus too much on the little ones’ needs, grumpy adults will have to shower hunched over among an army of rubber ducks, and if you focus too little on the children, they won’t be able to reach anything, or worse, they’ll hurt themselves trying.
Freestanding tubs are the most sophisticated and luxurious choice you could make: They look amazing wherever you put them; and they can be moved easily in every room where you may need them. This flexibility, however, affects their price; and they become the most expensive tubs you could purchase.
One more option is cast iron tub that will add something vintage to the general look of the bathroom especially if you choose a free standing one. Originally garden bathtubs were popular in France placed right in the gardens in order to let one’s eyes feast on the flowers and blossom around. Nowadays people retained this idea in large bathtubs placed right below the big window. If you want to preserve this look of tranquility in the bathroom, add a few plants and make sure there’s enough light.
If you want something vintage, you may prefer a slipper tub. You can also add some kind of niche so that everything necessary will be within arm’s reach. Fill niche with bottles of your favorite salts and bath foam. It may seem quite regular at the first glance, but you can spruce it up by adding sliding glass door or tiling the wall behind with vibrant colors.
Choosing material is much easier than choosing a type. Once you have determined the type, you’ll have no more than two/three choices to go through. We’ll present you with the most common materials, together with their advantages/disadvantages; and suitability for different types of tubs.
